Society Seal

The Henrico County Historical Society Seal was designed by the late Marion Oakley in 1976.

Pictured in the Seal are Pocahontas, Prince Henry Frederick, Prince of Wales, son of King James I of England after whom Henrico is named, and Sir Thomas Dale. The various items - tobacco leaves, books, pipe, civil war rifle, plow - relate to Henrico County history and resources.
